Wedding Makeup

Bridal Makeup

Your wedding day is going to be one of those days when you want to look your best, which means that you are going to want to make sure that you do your bridal makeup to the best of your abilities. Most people wear too much makeup on a day-to-day bases, and this is not a mistake that you want to make on your wedding day. Today we are going to talk about a few basic wedding makeup tips that can help you from overshooting your makeup but still making you look great.

Wedding makeup styles come in a lot of different forms, but all of them include some kind of eyeliner. However, when it comes to choosing the best kind of eyeliner, your best bet is to go with a charcoal or navy color. Trying to use a black or brown may look way too severe for your wedding day. This goes double for any kind of wedding that will be held during the day time. So lighten up your eyeliners with navies and charcoal colors, you will be happy you did. This is the first step in makeup when it comes to not making your makeup look too dark.

When it comes to highlighting your face, it is normally a good idea to go with a warm light peach color or possibly a vanilla shade if you have a very dark complexion. This is a good way to really lighten up your face and highlight your best features. Of course, putting this on “light” is not the only thing that you are going to want to put on light to highlight your face. When it comes to the power that you put on to cover up blemishes of the skin, remember that you are not suppose to pack on the makeup. All powder make up is suppose to do is highlight your face and lightly cover up blemishes. Too many people nowadays cake on their makeup, and this gives them a very fake and almost plastic look.

Wedding makeup is never done without adding a little color to your eyes. However, remember not to use a color that is too dense for your face. When you do that, it can detract your eyes from themselves, which is not a very pretty picture. Once again, this just goes back to not overdoing your makeup. Remember to use everything lightly and you will come out looking great. The same goes for your eyebrows. You will want to give them a little color, to match your hair color, but do not overdo it. Just take a brow pencil or shadow, and match your hair color. A simple light coat is all you need. This goes double for women that are going to be wearing their hair up and their brows will be showing. Having brows that are a different color than your hair is pretty easy to pick up on even from across the room.

While you are working on your eyes, be sure to get any red out that you may see in your eyes. This is not a very pretty look. Thus, if you have some red in your eyes be sure to put in a few eye drops to take away that tired and sick look. Bridal makeup is all about highlighting your face, and if you have red eyes, then you are doing nothing more than just highlighting a problem!

Days before your wedding day, you are going to break out with zits. This is just because the world likes to play mean tricks on us, or it could have something to do with the fact that your body has been under a lot of stress, and thus, you get some zits that pop up. Either way, you are going to want to avoid popping these. Your first gut feeling is going to be to pop them, but if you do, they are not going to heal up very nicely for your wedding day. Most of the time you can get rid of pimples by adding a little bit of toothpaste (not tooth gel) to them. This will help dry them out in no time.

Since you are using makeup, remember to blend and then blend some more. You do not want any kind of makeup lines, because these are not pleasing at all. Everyone has seen the girl that has the makeup line on her face, where you can clearly see where she stopped putting makeup on. This is bad for your wedding day, so no matter what kind of wedding makeup styles you use, remember to blend them with your natural skin tone.

Wedding makeup is not something that has to be hard. You can easily make yourself look great on your wedding day by following some of the tips that we have talked about. Just remember that you do not want to overdo your makeup. Once again, makeup is just suppose to highlight your great features, not cover them up!
