Caribbean Weddings

Find the perfect Caribbean Wedding Location

Destination weddings are becoming more and more popular, as the prices of airfare drops and the desire to get married in a tropical destination rises. Caribbean weddings are some of the most beautiful weddings that I have seen on the beach. The Caribbean lends itself to be one of the most beautiful destinations for a wedding because of the weather (most of the year) the beach, the gracious people, the food, and of course the Caribbean Sea! Caribbean weddings can easily be done – you just need to plan a destination wedding in advance.

Most of the time, I suggest that my clients start planning a destination wedding at least 9 months in advance. The price of airfare fluctuates, the hotel will need to be arranged, and sometimes couples want to go check out all the facilities and meet the wedding planner and see the accommodations before they make a final decision on all the details. A wedding in the Caribbean means balmy days and breezy nights on white sand beaches, surrounded by some of the sweetest smelling flowers on the planet, the most caring people, and some of the best food on the planet!

The Caribbean is home to some of the most beautiful islands on earth: Jamaica, Cancun, Virgin Islands, and Dominican Republic – they are all wonderful Caribbean beach wedding places. Having a luxury destination wedding is many people’s lifelong dream, but if you can turn that dream into reality, by all means – go for it! Caribbean weddings require plenty of advances, so if you are thinking about getting married in the Caribbean, plan with lots of time. The most beautiful wedding I was ever a part of was on the island of Cozumel, Mexico.

The couple got married at a Hacienda that had been standing for over 100 years. It had that old world Mexico charm, but it was still breezy and beachy and very Caribbean. It was great because the hotel provided the rooms, the church was right there, they catered the food, and they also set all the guests up with activities during their 5 day stay. The wedding was all inclusive, and it was sort of like a honeymoon and wedding all in one. The discounts that the couple got from hiring the resort to do everything right there on property was amazing. Minus the plane tickets, it was a very reasonable cost for a Caribbean wedding. The wonderful thing about the Latin American countries is that you can find Haciendas like this one. Congratulations on your engagement, and best of luck with your beautiful Caribbean wedding!
